A woman on Sunday, delivered a baby with his heart outside his body at a local hospital in Gaidam area of Yobe State.

The woman gave birth in her home but was immediately rushed to the University Teaching Hospital, Maiduguri, Borno State for proper medical attention. Hausa news platform, Rariya, reports.

Meanwhile the rare condition known as ctopia cordis affects just eight in every million births.
