This took place on wednesday, in the morning and evening at Maitama, Abuja, haven converged at Unity Fountain, they matched towards the NYSC state secretariat. According to Homason's interview with one of the prospective corps protests, Timothy Akor, when asked what it is they were doing, he said "We are protesting against the indefinite postponement of stream 2 batch-A Service." His team which was lead by Okitaiji, met with four of NYSC directors which were described as  four HODs identified as Director of Human Resources, Procurement, ICT and Protocol who addressed them on behalf of the Director General (DG), to be calm and assured of being in camp this week- unfailingly next week. Although, Okitaiji and his followers were not satisfied with this. They, however, left but promised to return if disappointed on the assured date. Finally, Timothy Akor said "this protest is not done in Abuja alone but also in Ibadan and Lagos."
