Adventurers Spelling Bee, Port Harcourt Conference

The Adventurer Club of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Choba, Port Harcourt Conference, Nigeria, held a Spelling Competition during the Youth Night (Half-hour) programme today. The objective was to test the Adventurers' aptitude on Word spellings, and to improve/expand their level of word apprehension and comprehension (Vocabulary). The competition which is known as Spelling Bee had 9 contestants among which 3 emerged as those qualified to compete in the District and perhaps Conference levels. Each of the contestants were to spell a minimum of 10 words correctly, which totalled over 80 words in the whole.
NOTE: The Adventurers are children in the Youth Ministries between age-6 and 10.
The contestants, however, received prices in the end of the programme.
The best three winners of the day are:
Bliss Amadi
Hachikaru Igwe, and
Stephan Ogubie.
It was, indeed, an awesome and inspiring moment with the children.
Happy Sabbath, Happy Day!
