A mother pulled a gun on a 16 year old girl in a neighbourhood after her daughter was fighting with another teen.
According to Newport News Police said they were called to a large fight in the Castle Drive area of the King’s Ridge partment complex on May 5th. When they got to the scene a mom told police that another mom pulled a gun on her 16 year old daughter. The two teenage girls were the ones fighting. Annette Lanier, a resident who lives in the area, said pulling a gun threatens everyone’s safety.
“That’s like saying you’re going to kill somebody and that’s crazy, especially over this little nonsense stuff,” said Lanier.
Newport News police have said warrant is being taken out for the women who pulled the gun because it’s a misdemeanor offense and the mother who complained would have to be the one to press charges.
