Suspected Defiler Dies as he Jumps Off 2nd Floor Of Female Hostel To Escape

A sad drama played out in the wee hours of Thursday as a male student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, Awka, Anambra State, who reportedly went to a female hostel to r*pe a student sustained high degree of injuries.
The female student, simply identified as Joy, whom he was attempting to r*pe was said to have raised the alarm which forced the suspected defiler to jump down the second floor of the female hostel, block A, at about 3:45am.

He fell into a gutter and got himself critically injured.

The unnamed suspect is reprtedly a final year student of Parasitology and Entomology in the university.

As at press time, there was no official statement from the school regarding the incident.
