At last, the Champions League comes to an end with Real Madrid emerging as champions/winners of the 2016 Champions League for the 11th time. The game which tarried throughout 90mins and extra time into penalty shoot-out finally became history as world best, Christian Ronaldo, took the last kick which handicapped their counterpart and rival, Athletico Madrid. Madrid took advantage of the one miss from ATM player.
Captain Sergio Ramos gave Madrid the lead in the 15th minute at the Sansiro to Stadium, Milan, Italy. But Carrasco equalised in the 75th minute to give Atletico a lifeline. One thing always certain about the game of football is that the game continues until there is a winner. Definitely, there must be a winner and a looser amidst their struggle/quest to win. And that loser, this time, is certainly not Madrid.
It was indeed a battle for fame. Congrats Real Madrid! Indeed, you are real.
